Percy Priest Named Best School in Two Categories
Well, we always knew it but now we have proof! The citizens of Nashville have voted, and our own Percy Priest Elementary has been recognized as the best of the best. Percy Priest took top honors in two categories of the "Best of Nashville" Readers' Poll sponsored by Nashville Scene magazine.
Percy Priest was chosen as "Best Elementary School" (both public and private - just like our vision states!) in the city AND "Best Public School" in Nashville!
Our unique and special combination of talented, dedicated and loving teachers and incredibly supportive parents and families, through both their time and their funds, has earned the respect and recognition of our community and is what makes us not just a great school, but the best school in Nashville!
Students at Percy Priest Are Physically Fit!
Percy Priest has received an outstanding award from the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports! We were awarded the State Championship Award for the 2005-2006 school year and were one of only two schools in the state to win this award. Most recently, 55 percent of our students were awarded either the National or Presidential Physical Fitness Award.
