Happy Fall!

We concluded our study of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom- we even explored real coconuts using our five senses. We had so much fun! We concluded our math unit on numbers 1-10 and more/ less/ the same. This week we learned about the letter I and reviewed the letters we have learned so far (m, a, g, I, c, d, o, t). Students began forming simple words in the consonant, vowel, consonant pattern.

Reminders: 
-One peanut free snack and water bottle should be sent each day.

-Please label all clothing with your student’s name. Many students have PPE Spirit wear and we want to ensure it gets home with the correct student.

-Additionally, please help your student practice buttoning, snapping, or zipping their coats independently. As the weather begins getting cooler jackets are necessary during arrival, dismissal, and recess. Students putting on and taking off coats independently is a big time saver!

-Our INVEST campaign is happening now! We are so thankful to everyone who has participated!

MATH: K.2 Numbers 1–10 
Unit Goals
-Students answer “how many” questions, count out, and compare groups within 10. Students write a number to represent how many.
