Ask your 2nd Grader:
- What happens to leaves and trees in winter? Spring? Summer? Fall?
- What gives leaves their green color?
- What is the purpose of a conclusion sentence in an informative paragraph? Where would the conclusion sentence be found in the paragraph?
- In what place can you look to determine if a number is even or odd?
- Is 987 an even or odd number?
- How do you write 608 in expanded form? Word form? Unit form?
- What is a physical map? What is a political map? What is a road map? Which type of map would you use to determine which landforms might be found in a specific area?
