Small World Yoga logo

Small World Yoga, a nonprofit connecting yoga with the community, will be bringing two yoga clubs to Percy Priest Elementary in 2025—one for K-2 and one for 3-5 students. Yoga sessions will likely be held on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 3:15-4:00 pm during the spring semester. If any Percy Priest parents are certified yoga teachers and interested in teaching or substituting, please email mikka@smallworldyoga.org for more info or visit Small World Yoga’s website to get started.

Let the games begin!

The Kids Heart Challenge is back and even bigger and better than before! Sign up online TODAY and spend 2 minutes as a family learning what to do in case of an emergency. You can learn Hands-Only CPR, Warning Signs of Stroke and so much more. Sign up now by visiting the Percy Priest Kids Heart Challenge page or downloading the AHA Schools app.  * EACH STUDENT NEEDS HIS OR HER OWN ACCOUNT to count towards our goal.

Our goal is for 400 (or more) students to register, learn Hands-Only CPR, AND Warning Signs of a stroke. If we reach our goal, we will be hosting a “Duck Race” where three of our wonderful faculty and staff will be dressed like ducks along the racecourse as they run for victory!

If a student completes the three things mentioned above, they will be able to cast a vote for who they would like to see run the race and have an opportunity to be one of the racecourse helpers.

Please reach out to Mrs. Tanner (amy.tanner@mnps.org) with any questions.

Let’s get QUACKING and meet our goal!

Well, I can tell you that it is pretty awesome! You may be a parent of one of the 254 students who are not registered and connected to Artsonia.com, our school’s amazing online art gallery! Registration is free and you only have to register once for each artist…ever. That’s right, not every year but just once for each of your Tigers! Once you are registered you will have access to your artist’s digital portfolio of every artwork they have created at Percy Priest Elementary School! Plus, Artsonia.com has a gift shop with high quality products featuring your favorite artist’s work, an excellent resource for the upcoming gift-giving season.
