Percy Priest Fine Arts Night: THURSDAY!
Mark your calendars for Fine Arts Night on Thursday, March 6th, from 5:00–7:00 PM! This exciting event will showcase the artistic and musical talents of our students. Every student will have two pieces of art on display!
Music performances begin at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria, featuring:

  • Choir
  • House Band
  • Mrs. Hartsock’s Class on Drums
Don’t miss the Gallery Walk Experience, where you can admire student artwork throughout the school!
Join us for a fun-filled evening celebrating the arts at Percy Priest!

Only 4 more days to read read read!! This year we are reading Ian Fleming’s classic book Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! FAQ information sheets, reading logs, and the challenge card were sent home in students’ red Chitty Chitty folder. Students will keep all things read-a-thon related (reading logs, challenge board, coloring sheets, etc.) in this folder and it should travel with them between home and school.  

Tuesday, February 18th – Monday, March 3rd:  

  • READ, READ, READ! During breakfast, in the car, outside, under the covers! 
  • Tally your reading on the reading logs. Parents need to initial each reading log entry.  
  • Work on your Chitty Chitty challenge board. Students can collect their badges as they complete the challenges (buttons coordinate to the challenge board colors). 

Friday, March 7th:  

  • CELEBRATION DAY – Favorite Book Character Dress-Up Day!  
  • Students who achieve the 100 book (Kindergarten) and 1,500 minute (1st-5th) challenge will be recognized during morning announcements and receive a certificate and prize.

March 25: Math Night with Mathnasium!

Games?  Fun?  Contests and Prizes?  Yes!! Get Ready for Math Night at PPE!  Drop in on March 25th anytime between 5:00pm to 7:00pm for lots of brain-challenging games, awesome prizes, and tons of fun.  The entire family is welcome!

March 29: Spring Auction at Richland Country Club

The countdown is on to March 29th! We are less than 30 days from this year’s Silent Auction and Beach Ball — PPE’s exciting fundraising event and party. Dust off your dancing shoes and grab your friends, because you won’t want to miss all the amazing entertainment and items up for bid (more about that below). This year’s event will feature live music by renowned Nashville party band, BanDLux and a hilarious stand-up comedy routine by our very own Mr. Mott. In past years, tickets have sold out so buy your tickets early. Food and drink are included in your ticket. Corporate sponsor tables are also still available. Not sure what to wear? Grade Level Artwork UPDATE: Students will work together to “Make Their Mark” during recess on Wednesday, 3/5 creating a beautiful flower design on a ceramic pizza stone. Students will also sign an accompanying pizza peel that will be included in the silent auction. If you can’t make it to the Beach Ball the auction will be available for online viewing beginning at 5pm on 3/27.

The silent auction is jam-packed with gift ideas for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, 40th Birthdays and more with incredible experiences and items to cherish. Snag WOW-worthy gifts like a private 4-person Pickleball Clinic with Ari Roodhuyzen, a 2-Hour Private Drone Flying Class with UAV Coach, a Glycolic Acid Facial with Restoration Dermatology, or a K. McKarthy Gift Basket valued at $500. Shop online beginning the evening of 3/27 if you don’t attend the Beach Ball.

FAQ 7: When is the last time I can see the current building? Removal of the current building will happen quickly after school is out in May. Make sure to join us for Percy’s Moving Party to say “goodbye” to the building before the end of school. More information on this exciting May 18 event will be coming in the next few weeks!

Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-26 school year is open.  If you or someone you know has an incoming kindergartner, please encourage them to complete registration as early as possible.  For information regarding enrollment requirements, please visit this site.

Parents, grandparents and special friends are welcome to eat lunch with students! To help us with space and accommodating guests, we ask that visitors sign-up to come eat lunch using the bookings link below. Please be sure to select the correct grade level and teacher.
