A few things from my end:
– I added this doc to the google drive if we want to work off a live document. Here is the link for the document. Some comments in there.
– Here is the link to the overall event file to load items into as we go
– Stacia, let me know when you have the SUG updated (with grade-level vol spots) and I will add it to newsletter.
– Claudia let me know some verbiage for room parents to start promoting this and getting vols and I will get that out this coming week. Feel free to pull from my promotion spot at the bottom of the doc but it should be short.
– I am being a little mindful/thoughtful about set up timing with dismissal. The road and parking lot can’t be blocked until after dismissal is over (3:30). I think we can plan to have enough hands to set up ice cream and such but the safety fencing might take time. I will mention this to Zach. On this note should we have signs in the side lot starting Thursday that say: “this parking lot must be cleared by 3:30pm Friday Sept 20 for event set up”? We can print this on paper and add it to signs if we need to (instead of printing more yard signs).
– Should we ask a PPE Parent to take pictures night of? Someone who wouldn’t mind capturing key moments with a nice camera and who can get us the pic files after? Who comes to mind?

I agree- I think we should buy the toppings in bulk so they are the same at each station. Also making specific slots for grade level volunteers is a great way to get more people to volunteer, and sending the SUG to the room parents to email to their classes in addition to having it in the e-blast should happen for sure.

Thanks so much for this. Looks good! I do think if you add the toppings we will get them but I do wonder if it would be easier to just use the budget and get exactly what we need. Like we may want to do bulk toppings so we aren’t having to open 100 jars of cherries. Maybe leave them off for now and we can add them after we do some topping re-con?
Should we add grade-level table volunteers to this? Then we can have room parents push push this (and remind about the 1 hour volunteer per quarter per parent recommendation :))
