We are well into our way of the first quarter of third grade, and what a wonderful beginning of the school year we’ve had! Each week you’ll find what we’re doing in class, and what you can expect your child to be learning!

ELA: We are finishing up learning about Jacques Cousteau, and writing 2 paragraphs on why and how scientists explore the sea. We will be moving into the book “Shark Attack” and focusing on main idea and key details.

Math: Continuing with multiplication and division strategies

Science: We are wrapping up map skills in SS, and moving into Science, focusing on forces, energy and magnets.
