It’s hard to believe that we are moving into week 4 of third grade! It has been such a pleasure getting to know you and diving into our third-grade curriculum. Below you will find information about what we are learning next week!
ELA
We will be completing an informational paragraph using all of the art and texts we have studied up to this point. Students will be writing to the prompt of “How do artists explore the sea” using evidence and elaboration to explain their thinking.
We will also begin reading a new text titled, Ocean Sunlight.
Math
We will continue working with and deepening our understanding of various strategies to help us multiply.
Begin our unit on polygons, quadrilaterals, and area
Social Studies
We will be talking about map skills this week. This will include cardinal directions, continents, and oceans
