Hello Families!

We had such a great week with Valentine’s Day. You all made us feel so special with Teacher Appreciation Week; thank you so much!

Upcoming Dates:

• March 4th – Wax Musuem due
• March 6th- Parents are welcome to come for Wax Museum
• March 8th- half day for Spring Break!

We are TCAP prepping from here until we begin TCAP in both ELA and Math.

ELA- This past week we read a variety of stories of immigrants coming to America, and wrote narratives taking on the voice of an immigrant. We are moving into dissecting the book Grandfather’s Journey, focusing on story elements. We’ll continue narrative writing.

Math– We are moving into fractions greater than one, and fractions on a number line. We continue to ask students to work on their math facts- addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division!

Social Studies- We’ll be learning about the different Native American tribes for the next couple of weeks.
