Hello Families!
We hope you had a fabulous spring break. This upcoming week, The students will continue to analyze life in America then and now. The students will start creating patterns. Please keep working with your student on their heart word book and return it on Thursdays. These are words the students should know by heart. Stay tuned for more updates!
Reminders:
-A peanut free snack and water bottle should be sent each day.
-We love celebrating birthdays! Students can celebrate at school by bringing in individually wrapped, prepackaged treats.
-Report Cards go home March 26th
-Navigator Day March 28th
-No school March 29th
ELA: How has life has changed in America over time?
Students will…
-Read, enjoy, and analyze literary texts and visual art.
-Analyze how transportation and communication have changed over time
-Understand how change occurs over time
MATH: Patterns
-Recognize, describe, extend and create patterns
-Explain a simple rule for patterns
-Describe patterns involving the passage of time using words
Social/Emotional Learning (SEL)
-Demonstrate awareness and consideration of other people’s emotions, perspectives, and social cues
-Understand why we have rules and the importance of them
-Understand the importance of sharing and taking turns
-Understand how to learn from your mistakes and see how to improve
