This upcoming week, students will learn about the ocean and ocean animals. Students will start learning about money and their value. Stay tuned for more updates!

Reminders:
-A peanut free snack and water bottle should be sent each day.
-We love celebrating birthdays! Students can celebrate at school by bringing in individually wrapped, prepackaged treats.
-May 17th is Kindergarten Goodbye Party

ELA: Oceans
Students will…
-Read, enjoy, and analyze literary texts and visual art.
-Learn about the ocean
-Learn about animals of the ocean

MATH: Money
-I can identify the name and value of pennies
-I can identify the name and value of quarter
-I can identify the name and value of dimes
-I can identify name and value of nickels

Social/Emotional Learning (SEL)
-Demonstrate awareness and consideration of other people’s emotions, perspectives, and social cues
-Understand why we have rules and the importance of them
-Understand the importance of sharing and taking turns
-Understand how to learn from your mistakes and see how to improve
