PPE PTO Newsletter 3/28/25

The time has finally arrived—our Beach Ball Spring Auction is here! This year’s event is completely SOLD OUT, and we can’t wait to boogie Palm Royale or Havana Nights style with all of you! If you didn’t snag a ticket, don’t worry—you can still join in on the fun by bidding from home, as our silent auction is officially open! And if you’re one of the lucky ones attending, be sure to check out these event FAQs so you’re ready to party the night away. Let’s make this a night to remember!

Teachers and staff will have a very short timeline to pack their classrooms before they must exit the current building for summer break. While MNPS will arrange for moving their packed boxes, many teachers would love help organizing, sorting, tossing, and packing their classrooms. Can you help? We absolutely need as many people as possible to chip in for this so if you haven’t had a chance to volunteer lately please join us. There are several options for dates and times!

SAVE THE DATE! Help us celebrate the end of the school year and the end of an era as we say goodbye to our current building and help Percy move to his new building! General Announcements

The time has come! The Percy Priest library will be moving to the new building soon! We need your help to get this process underway.

All library books are due now!

  • Search under beds, in closets, under car seats, in backpacks, in desks, or anywhere books tend to hide and return them as soon as possible.
  • Please check your student’s Friday folder for a detailed list of books that are still checked out. This list contains public library books as well. Look for the books labeled MNPS (not NPL) and return those to the PPE library.
  • If you think that you may have already returned the books listed, please check with Ms. Stuart.
  • Students may still use Limitless Library to order books from the Nashville Public Library to be delivered to PPE.

Percy Priest Drama Club is proud to present The Wizard of Oz! We will be presenting the show on Friday, April 4th during the school day, however, if you’d like to come see the show, there are some opportunities during the week! Sign up here for tickets, or use the QR code on the flyer.

LAST CHANCE!!

We have some classmates who want to practice open play and sports. There’s specific interest in baseball, if you have a glove and a softer ball! From a good ‘ole game of catch to parents connecting and catching up, join us on the playground on Sundays at 4pm! ALL are welcome!

Next C.A.R.E. coffee is Thursday, April 10th immediately after school drop offs. See you at the Green Hills Hilton coffee lounge (validated, onsite parking!)
