Dear Percy Priest Families,

We are so grateful for your incredible support of our INVEST campaign! Thanks to the generosity of this community, we surpassed our initial goal of $185,500 by 110% with over 96% of families participation– a remarkable achievement! This success demonstrates the deep commitment of PPE families to fostering an enriching educational environment for our children, and we could not be more thrilled.

As you may know, our INVEST funds are crucial in funding key positions and supplementing the entire educational experience for all of our students. We rely on that funding to meet the evolving needs of our school community, and, with this in mind, we want to share an important update.

With a growing number of thriving exceptional education students in our inclusive community, we’ve identified an urgent need for additional support staff. Currently, teachers and classroom associates have been stepping outside their traditional roles to meet these students’ unique needs, which impacts the experience of all students. Hiring an additional support staff member through INVEST funds will provide these students with the help they deserve while also enabling our staff to focus fully on their classroom roles.

After careful consideration, the PTO Board has approved a modest increase to this year’s INVEST budget to make this possible. We are so close to reaching this updated goal, and we’re hopeful that, with your continued support, we can come together as a community to fulfill this need. If you haven’t had the chance to contribute to INVEST yet, we’d love for you to join us in supporting this special initiative that benefits every student at PPE.
