Dear Grandparents and GrandFriends,
Thank you for taking time to be with us last Thursday and Friday. Hopefully, seeing your grandchild and special friend at school will want to make you want to visit with us again! If you were unable to attend, you were missed.

For those who came, I hope you could tell the excitement of your visit was felt throughout the entire school! Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces was like winning the lottery. Of course, some were like little jumping beans, unable to contain their excitement.
We will continue to send out occasional emails to you all but if you’d like to receive the weekly emails that go out to our parents that detail everything going on at the school, you can sign up to receive those emails here.

If you were unable to shop at the Roar Store while you were here, you can shop The Roar Store year-round on the PPE website. With the “holidazes” approaching, these items make special gifts. Additionally, as I mentioned last week, there are many ways to help Percy Priest raise funds for the PTO, including those detailed below.

INVEST is the PTO’s annual fundraising campaign. The INVEST campaign is a chance for everyone in the Percy Priest community to invest directly in our teachers, students and programs through monetary gifts. You can give to the campaign here.

Holiday Greenery Sale – Nov. 15 deadline to order
Friends and family, let PPE help you prepare for the holidays all while supporting our school! 24” Fraser Fir Wreaths are priced at $27 and Premium 24” Fraser Fir for $60. Wreaths will be available November 22nd at Percy Priest Elementary after school until 4:00. Papa John’s Dough for Dough
PPE friends and family, take the night off from cooking and feed the family while supporting the school! Use our unique code: PPES when ordering from Papa John’s and the PTO will receive 20% of all orders placed using that code. You can pre-order days in advance just make sure to select the appropriate date and input our unique code. There will be plenty of Papa John nights that will help benefit our school.  Mark your calendar for more Papa John Dough for Dough: 10/20, 11/17, 12/15, 1/19, 2/16, 3/16, 4/20, 5/18.

Amazon will donate 0.5% of all money spent on their site. Link your Amazon account to the Percy Priest Elementary PTO by clicking on this link and then connecting Percy Priest to your account. For future Amazon shopping, you must use the site smile.amazon.com in order to give Percy Priest the 0.5%.

Kroger will donate 4% of the total dollars spent in their stores to PPE. To participate, visit the Kroger website here, create or login to your account and select Percy Priest Elementary PTO as your Community Rewards Organization.

Publix Partners will donate $250 to the Percy Priest Elementary PTO for every $37,500 spent cumulatively by our school’s participants. To support Percy Priest, join Club Publix. If you’re already a member, log in to your account and select My Publix Partner to search for the school of your choice. Remember to pay with the Publix app or enter your phone number at checkout each time you make an eligible purchase. Parents do have to re-register annually.

Box Tops 4 Education will donate $0.10 per label to the Percy Priest Elementary PTO for each qualifying box top that is turned in. To participate, download the “Box Tops for Education” app and then simply scan your receipt and the app will identify any box tops you may have purchased. These will automatically go towards our school’s total.

Earn additional money for the PTO by shopping online at the Box Tops Marketplace, with over 70 participating vendors, including Lands’ End, Target, Gap, and Pottery Barn. See the Box Tops website for details.

If you shop for groceries online or have e-receipts, you can now submit your email receipts from select retailers to earn Box Tops for your School. Visit the app or website for more details and to see a full list of participating retailers.

Just Glass will donate $3 per month, per subscription, to the Percy Priest Elementary PTO. Subscribe by visiting the Just Glass website and receive bi-weekly pick-ups of your recycled glass, while supporting our school!
