Welcome back from Spring Break! We’re off to the races with spring fun at Percy Priest, from more after school clubs to Grandparents & Special Friends Day to a new tennis fundraiser, and much more. And, we have more opportunities to support our school through small fundraisers (be sure to scroll down to read all about them!). Join in the fun!

School Events

Grandparents & Special Friends Day – April 7 & 8
We are so excited that Grandparent and Special Friends Day is back! See the flyer for details!

We still need volunteers on Thursday April 7th from 10:30-1:00 to help with the K-1st graders and on Friday, April 8th from 10:00-2:00 to help with the 2nd-4th graders.  If you are available for any of these dates and times, please email KC Hutchinson – hutchinson.kc@gmail.com.

PPE Scholastic Book Fair – April 4th-8th
After a two-year hiatus, it’s BACK! Our Scholastic Book Fair will take place in the library from Monday, April, 4th thru Friday, April 8th. It will be open for families to shop from 3:30-5:00 on Monday, April 4th.

We’re encouraging families to use the Scholastic Book Fair eWallet. The eWallet is a safe and secure alternative to cash. You can create a free account and add funds that will allow your child to select books. When they come to the fair, we’ll look up their eWallet. The eWallet is a great alternative to cash.

Students can bring their Grandparents’ and Special Friends to shop the Book Fair when they visit PPE on Thursday, April 7th and Friday, April 8th.

If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will benefit our school as well.

Tiger Tennis Social – April 22

Join us on April 22 from 9:00-2:00 at Seven Hills Swim & Tennis Club for a fun-filled day of tennis play! Participants will get split into groups based on their level of experience so it is guaranteed to be fun for all.

Not a tennis player but want to join in the fun and give back to the school? Join us for a lunch/spectator option with some bocce play.

Lunch from Greenery Co is included with the purchase of a ticket. Rain date Friday, May 6.

3rd Grade Girls’ Book Club – April and May
Join Miss Stuart for 8 weeks of American Girl books, crafts and friends! The club will meet on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:15. See the flyer for details and to register!

Small Fundraisers

Green Hills Grille – Dine In or Out – Monday, March 28

This Monday, March 28, grab your family’s favorite dinner from Green Hills Grille and support Percy Priest while enjoying a delicious dinner you didn’t cook! Green Hills Grille will donate 10% of all sales to the PTO budget, which provides our school with additional staff, software and supplies to our school. Be sure to tell them that you’re with Percy Priest. Hope to see you there!

Pick up will be at the Percy Priest Playground from dismissal until 4PM on April 21st. Publix Partners will help earn money for our school. It is easy: Present your Publix Partners school card at checkout (which you can get at the customer service desk at any Pubix). For every $37,500 spent cumulatively by our school’s participants, Publix will award our school $250.

You can subscribe to our PTO calendar and have all of our events show up on your calendar, so you never lose track of important dates!
